Pre Match Review:
MUZOMETER says ARSENAL. However with the Arsenal injury list piling up we can see this as a DRAW.
Arsenals 800th match under Arsene Wenger comes against a Birmingham side whose last win on Gunners soil came in 1957,
the year Prime Minister Harold Macmillan declared that Britons had never had it so good. We are the small team going to
play the mighty Arsenal and you hope that the referees fair - I am sure he will give a strong performance Birmingham boss
Alex McLeish Right now both these clubs are lacking a feelgood factor, and need to find form if they are to avoid a winter
of discontent. Back-to-back league defeats have exposed familiar frailties at Arsenal, while Birmingham were booed off at
St Andrews after surrendering their year-long unbeaten home record to Everton.
Post Match Review:
Arsenal came from behind to beat Birmingham and go second in the table but the victory was tarnished by a late red card
for Jack Wilshere. The visitors went ahead against the run of play when striker Nikola Zigic headed home Keith Faheys
cross. Samir Nasri levelled from the penalty spot after a foul on Marouane Chamakh and the Moroccan striker rounded Ben
Foster to put Arsenal ahead. Wilshere was given his marching orders for an ugly lunge on Zigic.

Pre Match Review:
MUZOMETER says BOLTON. This was Stokes first Premier League fixture following promotion in 2008, and though the Potters were beaten 3-1
they have since gone on to establish themselves in the top flight using the Bolton blueprint - direct, high-tempo football, solid home
form and effective set-pieces. We are moving forward and showing there is more than one dimension to our play Bolton boss Owen Coyle has
this week defended Stoke boss Tony Pulis following criticism from Fulhams Danny Murphy. The midfielder named Pulis as one of three managers
who are to blame for their sides reckless tackling, but Coyle insists - no manager instructs his players to go and try to hurt opponents -.
Post Match Review:
Ivan Klasnic scored an injury time winner and was sent off minutes later as Bolton snatched a dramatic victory
in a hard-fought match with Stoke. Lee Chung-Yong gave Bolton the lead with a superb 22-yard curling finish
midway through the first half. Stokes Jermaine Pennant struck the bar with a free-kick before Rory Delap fired
home to bring the Potters level. Two minutes into injury time, Klasnic swivelled and fired in before picking
up two bookings to earn his dismissal. It was a conclusion in keeping with what had been an engrossing
encounter between two evenly matched sides.

Pre Match Review:
MUZOMETER says DRAW. The only time Mark Hughes has experienced defeat in his last 19 league matches as a manager came at the hands of Tottenham
when he was in charge of Manchester City back in December 2009. His reign as Fulham boss has got off to an excellent start and the unbeaten
Cottagers have lost none of the solidity that made them such a force to be reckoned with under Roy Hodgson.
Post Match Review:
Tottenham ended Fulhams unbeaten start in the league with a come-from-behind win sealed with a goal that was
very nearly disallowed for offside. Fulham were the more consistent threat in the first half and led after
Clint Dempsey evaded two defenders, setting up a simple goal for Diomansy Kamara. But Spurs equalised
immediately when Rafael van der Vaart turned Aaron Hughes to set up Roman Pavlyuchenko. Tom Huddlestones
winner struck from range stood after consultation. The assistant referee Martin Yerby had initially flagged
for offside as he saw William Gallas drift past the last defender. But by then Huddlestone's shot from a
corner, driven right-footed from outside the area, was already heading for the bottom corner of Mark Schwarzers
goal. Gallas made a cursory effort to toe-poke the ball home but Yerby and referee Mike Dean, following a
lengthy pitchside conference, eventually agreed that the goal should stand.

Pre Match Review:
MUZOMETER says MAN UTD. West Bromwich Albion head to Manchester bidding for a first win at Old Trafford in 32 years.
That match, in December 1978, finished 5-3 to the Albion in one of the most memorable games of the era. The Midlands
side would end the season in third place, earning manager Ron Atkinson and star midfielder Bryan Robson lucrative moves
to Old Trafford several years later.
Post Match Review:
A mistake from Manchester United keeper Edwin van der Sar proved costly as his side were held to a draw by West Brom.
Wayne Rooney started on the bench for United but they went 2-0 up when Javier Hernandez pounced on a parried save to slot
in before Nani steered in a shot. A Nemanja Vidic header hit the Baggies post but the visitors scored when Patrice Evra
diverted a Chris Brunt free-kick into his own net. Van der Sar then dropped a Brunt cross to allow Somen Tchoyi to equalise.
Rooney had come off the bench in the 71st minute and, although he went close when his goalbound shot was blocked in the West
Brom goalmouth by Gabriel Tamas, he failed to help United to a win as they were held to a third consecutive Premier League draw.

MUZOMETER says NEWCASTLE. Newcastle look to avoid a third successive home defeat against Wigan, who are the only Premier League
club yet to concede on their travels. Roberto Martinezs side may have only played two games away from home, but it is a brave man
who overlooks their achievements.
Post Match Review:
Newcastle fought back from 2-0 down to draw with Wigan thanks to Fabricio Coloccinis last-gasp header.
Ex-Magpie Charles NZogbia scored two goals in two minutes in the first-half, his first a header and then a
powerful finish from Franco Di Santos crosses. Substitute Shola Ameobi then reduced the deficit, with a
diving header from Jonas Gutierrezs ball from the left. And in the final minute of stoppage time, Gutierrez
provided for Argentine team-mate Coloccini to power in. It was an extraordinary finish to a match which Wigan
deserved to win.

Pre Match Review:
MUZOMETER says DRAW. When Wolves pulled off a stunning 3-1 victory over West Ham in March it pushed them up to the dizzying
heights of 14th in the league and went a long way to helping them comfortably secure their top-flight status. After a summer
of record investment it was assumed that Wolves were really going to push on this season. But after an opening day win over
Stoke they have been found badly wanting, and with successive matches against Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United and
Arsenal to come, Mick McCarthys side need to find some menace in attack.
Post Match Review:
Mark Noble scored a second-half penalty as West Ham took a share of the spoils from fellow strugglers Wolves.
Matthew Jarvis volleyed home after a weak punch by West Ham goalkeeper Rob Green to put the hosts ahead. Noble
then equalised from the spot after Kevin Foley brought down Hammers striker Victor Obinna in the box. Frederic
Piquionne thought he had scored the winner for West Ham with the last kick of the game but his effort was
disallowed for handball.

Pre Match Review:
MUZOMETER says DRAW. The last time Gerard Houllier faced Chelsea from the dugout he masterminded Liverpool to a 1-0 victory
back in 2004. Now in the Aston Villa hotseat, he takes on a Blues team that are now firmly enshrined at the top of the English
game, having won three Premier League titles and three FA Cups in those intervening years. Chelsea trounced Villa 7-1 in March
and their avalanche of goals has shown no sign of abating this season, helping the champions to rack up an already imposing
looking four-point lead.
Post Match Review:
A below-par Chelsea edged into a five-point lead at the top of the table after being held by dogged Aston Villa. The hosts started
brightly as Stephen Ireland screwed an effort wide and Petr Cech tipped John Carews shot around the post within the first five minutes.
The Blues improved after the break and Branislav Ivanovic and Nicolas Anelka both headed against the woodwork. Ciaran Clark also hit the
post for Villa while Nigel Reo-Coker spurned a great chance to win it at the death.

Pre Match Review:
MUZOMETER says DRAW. Following a week of unparalleled drama in the Liverpool boardroom, attention returns to on-field matters as Goodison
Park hosts the 214th Merseyside derby. A look at the Premier League table makes uncomfortable reading for both clubs, and they meet on Sunday
with more than just local pride at stake. Liverpool have made their worst start to a top-flight campaign since 1953/54 - a season that ended
in relegation.
Post Match Review:
Liverpools new owners started their reign by watching the struggling Reds being convincingly beaten by
Merseyside rivals Everton at Goodison Park. Seamus Coleman produced a surging run before crossing for Tim
Cahill to lash in a shot and put the Toffees ahead. Everton out-muscled and out-fought Liverpool and Mikel
Arteta powered in a 20-yard shot to add to the home lead. Fernando Torres had a strike saved late on for the
Reds, who rarely threatened and stay in the bottom three.

Pre Match Review:
MUZOMETER says MAN CITY. Moneybags Manchester City meet a club keeping a tight grip on the purse strings in a game many will look to for
evidence (or otherwise) of Citys Premier League title credentials. Both sides have come a long way since their last encounter 11 years ago,
when Blackpool held City to a 0-0 draw at Bloomfield Road in what is now called League One. While the Seasiders rise has been achieved on
a shoestring budget, City boast the most expensively assembled squad in world football, and their bid to become a Premier League force is
gathering momentum.
Post Match Review:
Manchester City moved up to second in the table after Carlos Tevez scored twice to help them overcome
Blackpool. The Argentine flicked in David Silvas low cross to open the scoring although he appeared to be
offside. Marlon Harewoods brilliant glancing header gave Blackpool a deserved equaliser but seconds later
Tevez made it 2-1 with a low, deflected shot. David Silva scored City's third with a superb solo effort before
Gary Taylor-Fletcher struck a late consolation.

Pre Match Review:
MUZOMETER says DRAW. Goals have always been at a premium in games between these two sides in the Premier League, and given their
dubious scoring records this season, a tight encounter could be in store at Ewood Park. Both clubs have managed a paltry seven goals
each in their seven matches so far. Sunderlands Darren Bent has contributed 83% of his teams league goals, while Blackburn failed to
force Stoke keeper Thomas Sorensen into a single save in their last match.
Post Match Review:
Blackburn salvaged a point against Sunderland despite playing more than half the match with 10 men following the dismissal of defender Chris Samba.
In first-half added time Samba slipped, and having been dispossessed by Danny Welbeck, hauled down the striker on the edge of the area and was sent off.
Earlier, on a wet night, Darren Bent went clean through but his effort was blocked by the agile Paul Robinson. Bent headed straight at Robinson late on
but Rovers deservedly earned a draw.
